1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Website Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, you should stop using the website.
2. Purpose of the website
The website provides information about Shaun Gregory Consulting ("SGC"), its commercial-growth services, experience, resources and ways to make contact. Website content is intended to help prospective clients understand the nature of the services and prepare for a commercial discussion.
3. No professional or regulated advice
Unless a written engagement expressly states otherwise, website content, articles, guides, diagnostic results and other resources provide general business information only. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, engineering, health and safety or other regulated professional advice.
You remain responsible for obtaining specialist advice where your decision requires it.
4. Commercial Growth Diagnostic
The Commercial Growth Diagnostic is a structured self-assessment intended to help identify areas that may deserve management attention. Its score, readiness band, review areas and suggested SGC starting point depend on the answers supplied by the user.
A diagnostic result is not an audit, valuation, assurance opinion, guarantee of performance or definitive statement about the condition or prospects of a business. It should be used as a decision aid and tested against relevant business evidence.
5. No guarantee of commercial results
Commercial outcomes depend on factors beyond SGC's control, including market conditions, client decisions, implementation quality, budget, timing, competition, customer behaviour and third-party performance. Nothing on the website guarantees revenue, profit, market entry, lead volume, conversion, search rankings, social-media performance or another specific result.
6. Engagements and proposals
Website information does not itself create a consulting engagement. Scope, responsibilities, deliverables, fees, timing, confidentiality and other commercial terms will be confirmed separately where SGC and a client agree to proceed.
If a proposal, quotation, agreement or statement of work conflicts with general website content, the signed or otherwise agreed engagement terms take precedence for that engagement.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website design, SGC branding, original written content, frameworks, diagnostic structure and SGC-created resources are owned by or licensed to SGC.
You may view the website and download resources made available for that purpose for your own internal business use. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, commercially exploit, remove attribution from or present SGC material as your own without prior permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the website in a manner that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, disruptive or intended to compromise the security, availability or integrity of the website or related systems. Automated extraction, interference, malicious code and attempts to obtain unauthorised access are prohibited.
9. Third-party links and platforms
The website may link to third-party websites or services, including LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Those services are operated independently and are subject to their own terms, privacy practices, availability and security arrangements.
A link does not amount to a guarantee or endorsement of every statement, product, service or practice of a third party.
10. Website availability and accuracy
SGC aims to keep material useful and reasonably current, but the website may contain errors, omissions or information that becomes outdated. Features may be changed, suspended or removed while the website, integrations and service offering evolve.
Users should verify information that is material to a commercial decision before relying on it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SGC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on general website content or a self-assessment result.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
12. Privacy
Use of personal information connected with this website is described in thePrivacy & POPIA Notice.
13. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute relating specifically to these website terms will be dealt with by a court or other forum with lawful jurisdiction in South Africa.

SGC may update these terms as the website, services, legal requirements or technology integrations change. The "Last updated" date identifies the version currently published.
